So this was posted a few days and I am interested in seeing what you all's opinion's are about it and what you would like to see.

"Set in Middle Earth, the television adaptation will explore new storylines preceding J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Fellowship of the Ring. The deal includes a potential additional spin-off series."

Also it's interesting they planned a potential spin-off series this early, but if they do a really good job with this it's cool that we could have some good LotR content for a long time.

Story lines preceding the books.. I'm kind of imagining that they will be making something along the lines of The Hunt for Gollum by Independent Online Cinema. By the way - if you haven't seen it, then I recommend it

That looks really cool, I haven't seen it yet, but I will watch it when I get the chance.

I hope you enjoy it - they've also made another about how Arathorn II and Gilraen met - Born of Hope. It's pretty good and mighty impressive considering it's fanmade and on a very limited budget.

I actually saw Born of Hope a couple years ago and was quite impressed with it. I must have just never noticed that the same group made another film at the time.
